Very expressive nose. Its complexity involves notes of very ripe fruits (pear, quince) and fruit jelly. On aeration, the range of grilled and toasted fragrances appears, thereafter giving way to minty and spicy notes, including ginger, cinnamon and anise. The impact in the mouth shows great generosity through its power and remarkable richness. The finish is fruity (dominated by cooked yellow fleshed fruits such as plum), generous and persistent. This Vintage will accompany ideally fully-seasoned dishes such as savoury choux pastries with Parmesan cheese, simple small bread sticks of Serano ham or a gazpacho of carrots with cumin.
